The H2020 SME Instrument

In the last conference about SME's opportunities within the H2020,very well organized by Packnet and FoodforLife at CDTI, we have seen an open window with focus in solving the SME's initiatives bellow 175 K€ budget restricted to access the national funding programs.

The H2020 strategy promoting the SMEs innovations, has assigned 20% share in Industrial Leadership and Social Challenges budgets. This means around 9 bn€ available to support the SMEs ideas with 13% share for collaborative projects and 7% share for the SME Instrument, accounting 630M€ for highly :

The main and optimistics elements to be a usefull funding tool comes from 

• Single SME idea is accepted just fitting the instrument requirements
• Fase1 will hold <50.000 € projects with no feedback and 4 weeks decision about selected/rejected.
• Coaching is available to ensure the selected projects gets for sucess.
